After a stunning debut with their limited edition Super Stredge, Northern Monk have followed up with their second alcohol-free beer. This time it is a Hazy Pale Ale and it is superb. It pours really hazy with a decent head although it doesn't linger too long. On the nose is pine, grass and sweet fruit (grapefruit) and they follow through well on the taste. This is a real guzzler without the sweetness that many non-alcoholic beers have. Tons of bitter hops at the end and its a great mouthfeel to boot. We wouldn't be surprised if this doesn't content for the best alcohol-free beer of 2021.
